A bizarre crash in the US resulted in a Chevrolet Corvette becoming trapped underneath a Silverado, with the pick-up coming within inches of the supercar driver’s head.
The driver of a Chevrolet Corvette has used up a year’s worth of luck after their supercar became wedged underneath a Silverado pick-up in the US, with everyone involved walking away unscathed.
In a post on social media platform X – formerly Twitter – the Thornton Fire Department uploaded images of the bizarre crash which occurred in Colorado earlier this week.
At an intersection approximately 25 minutes north of Denver, Colorado, a current-generation Chevrolet Corvette ‘C8’ and an older Silverado pick-up collided, with the latter driving up and onto the supercar’s windscreen.

Thankfully for the driver of the Corvette, its windscreen stayed largely intact and kept the Silverado’s heavy front-end from intruding on the supercar’s cabin in a significant way.
According to the Thornton Fire Department, everyone involved in the incident was able to escape without injury and without need for a visit to the hospital.
A number of X users commented jokes on the online post, suggesting new Chevrolets are born about nine months after an incident such as this.
