Expect this limited-build and ‘final-edition’ Nissan supercar to fetch in excess of $500,000.
The last “new” 2022 Nissan GT-R T-Spec in Australia is set to go under the hammer for a good cause.
Ferntree Gully Nissan – a Victorian Nissan dealer of 27 years – is sending the new and unregistered supercar to auction, with the plan to donate any proceeds over the car’s retail value to the Upper Ferntree Gully fire brigade and the Bridge Builders Youth Charity.
With a Nissan GT-R T-Spec wearing an approximate drive-away retail value of $279,000, and the auction starting at $395,000, expect the final sale price to exceed $500,000.
Only 30 examples were bought into Australia, with the 29 others all spoken for “in record time”.
On top of receiving the supercar, the new owner will also receive an engine cover and copy of the book “GT-R: The Journey”, both signed by Nissan Japan’s chief production specialist for GT-R and Nismo Performance division, Hiroshi Tamura.
Tamura-san is a storied engineer Nissan who is referred to as “Mr GT-R” by his colleagues.
