The Suzuki S-Cross small SUV comes in for a comprehensive refresh in 2022. A highlight in an otherwise quiet year.
Suzuki has plenty of stars in its line-up, with models like Jimny, Vitara, Baleno and Swift all clocking up over 4000 sales each during 2021.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, the poor S-Cross barely cracked a tenth of that in 2021. A new model – which is in fact a heavy refresh of the current-generation car – seeks to change that.
The 2022 Suzuki S-Cross boasts bold new styling, with chunkier front and rear lighting lending it a more substantial look over the outgoing model.
While the new model has been confirmed for Australia during 2022, Suzuki hasn’t provided detail on exact timing.
Similarly, it’s not known if Australian specification cars will retain a version of the 103kW/220Nm 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine, or if Europe’s 48-volt mild-hybrid version of the same engine (with 95kW and 235Nm) might make its way here.
