Special-edition Toyota GR Supra pays tribute to Paul Walker

TOM’S Racing and a popular Japanese magazine have teamed up to produce a limited-edition Toyota Supra, paying tribute to the late Paul Walker.

Japanese tuning firm TOM’S Racing has collaborated with men’s lifestyle magazine Safari to create a unique Toyota GR Supra, with this special-edition ‘A90’ is a tribute to late actor Paul Walker. 

Walker, who starred in the popular movie franchise Fast & Furious, owned a handful of A80-generation Toyota Supra – one of which was white. With this in mind the creators decided to finish this modern edition in matte white.

The tribute GR Supra includes various distinctive features such as its rear wing, also inspired by the A80. Just like the wheels Paul’s character fitted to his Supra in the seventh movie, this car features 20-inch BBS LM alloys.

Performance modifications have also been made including a bespoke ‘Power Box’ which boosts the power output from the turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six engine.

TOM’S Racing is manufacturing just three examples of the limited-edition car with a price tag of $AU160,995 plus on-road costs. Applications to purchase will open at the end of October and if there are more than three offers, then a lottery system will be introduced.
