Infiniti QX55 name trademarked in the US and Canada

Nissan has registered the Infiniti QX55 name with the US Patent and Trademark Office, as well as the Canadian Trademark Database. The filings, which were made in June and discovered by Autoguide, hint at a new model to slot into the brand's range. It's not clear if this model, if it eventuates, will be a North American exclusive, or whether it will be sold in other parts of the world.
