Toyota reaches 100,000 hybrid sales in Australia

Toyota Australia has racked up more than 100,000 sales of its hybrid vehicles in Australia, nearly 20 years since the Prius first went on sale locally in 2001. According to the Japanese brand, which is also Australia's top-selling manufacturer, the milestone was reached "towards the end of April", ahead of the launch of the new RAV4 Hybrid this month.
