2020 Karma Revero to use BMW range extender

The upcoming 2020 Karma Revero will gain a new range-extender petrol engine and improved acceleration times when it launches in Shanghai. Having worked with BMW on range extender tech since 2015, the new petrol engine is expected to be a variation of the 1.5-litre three-pot used in the i8 and various Mini models. How much power it'll make isn't clear, but in BMW's hybrid hero it produces 170kW and 320Nm.
