2020 Alpina XB7 review
Let’s start with the elephant in the room. Not the 2655kg SUV that brings us here itself, rather the fact that – in proof of the existence of the German sense of humour – I didn’t get to drive the new 2020 Alpina XB7 on-road, only on the twisty and three-dimensional Bilster Berg racetrack in Germany that has been likened to a miniature version of the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

10 new cars we're excited about in 2020
When planning to buy a new car, it pays to have options. And while the Australian car market currently offers more than enough to keep you browsing for weeks on end – there's more to come over the next 12 months. At CarAdvice, we spend most of our days eagerly anticipating the new cars we've been writing about since they were merely concepts, renders or rumours. UPDATE, 11/07/20: Some further details of the models included in this story have been released.
Lamborghini Urus vs Jeep Trackhawk: world’s fastest SUVs drag race
Texas tuning firm Hennessey has put the world’s fastest SUVs – the Lamborghini Urus and Jeep Trackhawk – in a head-to-head drag race. Both vehicles are in showroom standard condition and were tested before they were due to receive a power upgrade. On paper, there’s nothing between the two. The Lamborghini Urus has a claimed 0 to 100kmh time of 3.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of 305kmh. The Jeep Trackhawk has a claimed 0 to 100kmh time of 3.7 seconds on the way to a top speed of 289kmh.
1997 Toyota Supra selling for nearly twice as much as a new one
A pristine, limited-edition 1997 Toyota Supra has gone up for sale in Tennessee with an asking price nearly double that of a brand-new 2020 Toyota Supra available in the US. The fourth-generation Supra – more commonly referred to as the ‘Mk4’ – is being offered by Street Side Classics in Nashville with an asking price of $US92,995 ($AU133,000). By comparison, a brand new, fifth-generation Toyota Supra is priced from as low as US$49,990 (AU$71,100) in the US.
Donate your car: The charity putting your used vehicle towards a good cause
When looking to offload your old car, it may feel like trading it in or selling it to a stranger are your only options. But if the rigmarole of organising a roadworthy certificate, dealing with tyre-kickers and having to take endless photos of the inside of your slightly scuffed glove box doesn’t appeal... allow us to introduce you to another, better way.
2020 Audi Q2 40 TFSI quattro Edition #2 review
An interesting thing has happened to Audi Q2 sales since the larger, and all-new, Audi Q3 lobbed on our shores late last year. A quick scan of sales for both, year-on-year, paints a clear picture. In April 2019, Audi shifted 186 of its compact Q2 SUV, while the then ageing previous-gen Q3 found only 11 new homes.
Around the tracks: A little girl's Nürburgring hot lap and a Ferrari stretch limo for sale
When we’re not creating it ourselves, the CarAdvice team spends a lot of time finding and consuming motoring content from all over the world. Here’s a handful of the photos, articles, videos or social media posts that most caught our eye last week. Some of them are brand new, others have been online for a while. Enjoy them – just not too much, okay? While the 'Green Hell', as it's been nicknamed, has brought many a seasoned driver to their knees – it's no match for a little girl.
