Victorian private car collection on show this Sunday for charity

A private car collection is opening its doors to the public this weekend, with money going to the Cancer Council.

One Gippsland, Victoria resident is showing off his collection of rare and classic cars, and it’s all in the name of charity.

Ray Ikin is opening his doors to the public this weekend, exhibiting a collection that includes a Holden Torana SS, three Chrysler Chargers, and a pair of Holden Monaros.

Australian racing legends Jim Richards and Steve Richards will also be making an appearance.

A replica of the Ford Falcon XB Coupe driven at Bathurst by Jim Richards will be on display, alongside a replica Peter Brock Torana.

One of Australia’s rarest cars will also be shown, a one-of-10 Leyland Force 7 coupe.

Entry costs $10, with proceeds going to the Cancer Council – an organisation Mr Ikin credits with helping him through his own health battle.

The show runs from 10am to 3pm on Sunday 26 March 2023 at 32 McMahon Street, Traralgon.
