Ford Australia has given its first specific indication of when new-generation Ranger and Everest models will arrive in showrooms.
The new-generation 2023 Ford Ranger, Ranger Raptor and Everest are due to arrive in Australian showrooms earlier than expected, as Ford calls ‘last drinks’ on the current models which are due to go out of production within days or weeks.
While Ford dealers are still taking orders for the current models, as they continue to sell down inventory before the new generations arrive mid-year, Ford Australia executives have given the clearest indication yet of arrival timing for its three biggest-selling models locally.
At a preview of the new-generation Ford Ranger Raptor in South Australia, Ford executives said the majority of the Ranger line-up is due in Ford showrooms in June, closely followed by the high-performance Ford Ranger Raptor in July, and the Ford Everest four-wheel-drive in August.

Media preview drives of all three vehicles are scheduled for the month ahead of each arrival date.
Ford Australia is yet to announce pricing for all three models – and dealers are yet to be advised – but the company says the complete price list will be distributed within weeks.
Drive understands there could be a modest price rise across each range of two to five per cent, if overseas prices are any guide.
Even though Ford is yet to publish a price list for its new line-up, Ford dealers canvassed by Drive say they have taken dozens of orders for the new models.
In particular, Ford dealers are reporting “strong demand” for the top-of-the-range Ford Ranger Wildtrak turbo-diesel V6 (TDV6), as well “strong interest” in the twin-turbo petrol V6 Ford Ranger Raptor.
Although dealers are already fielding inquiries on the new Ford Everest – in particular the TDV6 versions – most of the dealer enquiries so far have been for the Ranger line-up.
Ford Australia says it expects there will be limited supplies of the current run-out version of the Ford Ranger, which has been on sale in various guises since 2011.
Ford says dealer stocks are patchy and dependent on model grade, but encouraged buyers to contact as many dealers as possible if they are searching for a particular variant.
