The second-generation Lexus NX has been revealed ahead of its Australian launch next month – pricing yet to be announced.
The 2022 Lexus NX has arrived in Australia ahead of local showroom arrivals in January. While pricing is yet to be revealed, the new model boasts a new engine range, equipment upgrades and styling enhancements.
The mid-size SUV will be available in three trim specifications at launch along with a choice of petrol and hybrid powertrains in front and all-wheel-drive configurations, depending on variant.
The range kicks off with the NX250, a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission, sending 152kW and 243Nm to the front wheels.
The NX350 is powered by a new 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol four-cylinder capable of 205kW and 430Nm, mated to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic and standard all-wheel drive.
And finally, the flagship NX350 hybrid combines a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery – good for 179kW.
There are different grades on offer too, with the NX250 available in Luxury form, NX350 exclusively in F Sport guise, and the NX350h offered in Luxury, F Sport and Sports Luxury trims.
A plug-in hybrid NX450h+ model will arrive in the first three months of 2022
