2022 Subaru BRZ nearly sold out

If you’re interested, get in quick – less than 90 cars from Australia’s “first allocation” remain.

Australia’s first allocation of 2022 Subaru BRZ has almost sold out.

According to Subaru Australia, “less than 90” of the 500 examples earmarked for Australia have yet to find owners.

The initial batch of 500 vehicles covers

“the first model year BRZ (MY22 BRZ)” and customers who secure one can expect it to arrive “ in the first half of 2022.”

It’s also understood that the remaining 90 vehicles have yet to be configured, meaning if you’re after a specific combination, the door is still open.

General Manager of Subaru Australia, Blair Read, said “We are delighted by the reception for the all-new Subaru BRZ. The number of Australian customers already eagerly awaiting delivery to their driveway is testament to the great package the Subaru engineers have delivered with the next generation BRZ.”

The Toyota GR86 – which recently changed its name globally for internet search optimisation reasons

– is expected to arrive in Australia late in 2022.
