Cars you didn't know you want: Talbot-Simca Matra-Rancho

If you thought SUVs based on regular cars were a new thing, then pack your bags as we’re heading to France in the late 1970s. In 1976, Multi-industry engineering firm Matra, joined forces with French-based Fiat-formed subsidiary Simca, to produce a car that would provide a more affordable entry point to ‘lifestyle’ vehicles than the then-new, Range Rover.
