Tesla accused of spying in China, Elon Musk hits back – report

Tesla electric vehicles have been barred from entering military bases in China amid fears of spying, according to a report from news outlet Reuters. The US manufacturer – which integrates a wide array of cameras, microphones, sensors, and location devices into its cars – has strenuously denied claims it is using over-the-air functionality to extract sensitive data. The Chinese Government, meanwhile, is yet to put forward any evidence to substantiate its now-public claims of espionage.
