Toyota Yaris to spawn hybrid Mazda 2 replacement for Europe – report

The replacement for the long-running Mazda 2 city car in Europe could be a rebadged version of the Toyota Yaris, if a new report is to be believed. British publication Autocar, citing an official presentation shown during a recent Mazda earnings call, claims Mazda will offer a rebadged version of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid – likely as a replacement for the Hiroshima-based brand's Mazda 2 city car – in Europe by 2023.
