2016 Renault Megane recalled with the most obscure fault of 2020

Renault Australia has issued a recall on 824 examples of the Megane, citing an “error in the wording of [the owner's manual].” The affected vehicles are all Model Year 2016, and were sold between 16 April and 11 October 2016. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says “the owner's manual window operation section contains an error in the wording and may cause the user to wrongly operate the child safety features on the rear door”.
