Volvos recalled globally for faulty seat belts, nearly 25,000 Australian cars affected

Swedish car maker Volvo – which invented the three-point seat belt in 1959 – has issued a global recall of 2.18 million cars for defective seat belts, with 24,977 Australian vehicles included. Affected models include previous-generation S60, S60L, S60 Cross Country, V60, V60 Cross Country, XC60, V70, XC70, S80 and S80L produced between 2006 and 2019.
