2020 Audi A4, A5, A6 and A7 recalled due to fire hazard

Audi Australia has issued a recall of 29 examples of its 2020 model-year A4 (pictured above), A5, A6 and A7 cars due to a fire hazard. The issue affects 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine models fitted with mild-hybrid systems manufactured from May 2017 to March 2020. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says a gap in the housing of the vehicles’s start-alternator may allow moisture to enter the unit.
