Track test: Porsche Taycan electric car versus BMW M8 Gran Coupe

The new Porsche Taycan electric car has lined up against a BMW M8 Gran Coupe Competition in a head-to-head track test in Germany in the hands of a race driver thanks to AutoBild magazine. While we won’t give away the result – even though you might guess it – we will say it was closer than many would expect. For diehard petrol heads, the test shows there is still plenty of life left in fossil-fuel-powered performance cars.
