2020 Kia Ceed, XCeed Plug-in Hybrids revealed

Kia Motors Europe has revealed plug-in hybrid versions of its Ceed Sportswagon and XCeed crossover this week, ahead of a European sales launch early next year. Both vehicles utilise the plug-in hybrid system familiar from the Niro crossover and Ioniq hatchback, which teams a 1.6-litre 'Kappa' GDi four-cylinder petrol engine with 44.5kW electric motor and 8.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
