Holden has issued an equipment recall for its ‘RG’ Colorado, Colorado 7 and Trailblazer model lines over concerns the vehicle jacks could have incorrect instruction labels.

The company reports that certain vehicle jacks – sold by the Holden Service Parts Organisation (HSPO) – may be fitted with labels that do not correctly describe the safe and correct usage of the jack.

If the condition occurs, the user may not operate the jack correctly and this could result in an increased risk of injury.

The General Motors (GM) part number for these jacks is: 98162092

Customers with affected jacks are encouraged to contact their local Holden dealer to arrange for the correct label to be fitted to the vehicle jack assembly.
