Is Australia charged for EVs?
Australia is often considered a natural test market when launching a new tech product or service for reasons such as geographical size, the open-mindedness of people, high-tech infrastructure and government incentives and support. It is then quite surprising to learn that, in a report released by Energeia, Australia is the slowest developed nation to adopt Electric Vehicles (EV).
Jenson Button's McLaren P1 up for sale
Annoyed you missed out on a McLaren P1 during the initial production run? Maybe you'll be a bit luckier this time around. Jenson Button is selling his one, complete with a few cool options to match its racing pedigree. With just 887km on the odometer, this particular P1 has barely seen the open road. Button said he's selling it because he simply doesn't get time to drive it, living in the USA and working abroad constantly. Ah, the tough life of a racing driver.

2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE revealed
The tease is over. Finally. Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed its new GLE, ahead of an in-person debut at the Paris motor show. There's a new lighting signature up front, and the Mercedes design team has refined the creased flanks from the previous car into a smoother shape, more in keeping with the brand's current design language.

The company is currently in discussions with a number of public-sector organisations, including the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service, about adding prototypes of its new van to their fleets.
2019 Skoda Rapid spied
The next-generation Skoda Rapid has been spied at and around the Nurburgring Nordschleife. With the prototype clad from head-to-toe in camouflage, it's hard to make out too many of the new Rapid's styling details, although we can tell the next-generation model will stick with the same practical five-door layout as today's vehicle.
Former Rolls-Royce design boss lands at Hongqi

Although the Chinese automaker has a number of in-house brands, including Junpai and Besturn, the company says Taylor will be "chiefly responsible for creating unique design strategies and style concepts" for its flagship Hongqi marque.
