Five more of the greatest station wagons ever... the Japan Edition

My colleague Rob Margeit's piece on 10 of the greatest station wagons ever received a heap of feedback. It seems that many of us, be it part-time, or full-time car enthusiasts, love a good wagon. I too, am one of those nerdy folk. Fast family cars are great. Even more so, when they can fit a dog. We also noticed a few of you, in the comments section, heckled, good naturedly, from a distance.

Tesla banned from promoting Autopilot after German court ruling

American electric car maker Tesla has been banned from using the term 'Autopilot' when advertising its semi-autonomous driving technology in Germany, after a Munich court ruled the claims were "misleading consumers". On July 14, the Munich Regional Court ruled in favour of a German competition group which argued Tesla's German website was suggesting its cars "could and should drive autonomously by the end of 2019".

Two men have been fined for breaching COVID lockdown rules when the car they were allegedly driving was found to be missing a tyre, according to Victoria Police. The front fender and much of the inside wheel arch of the Nissan Pulsar had been damaged by the deteriorated tyre, eventually leaving only the bare alloy wheel to be driven on by the teen. According to the report, neither occupant knew how to change a flat tyre, leading the driver to continue until the vehicle was inoperable.

The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says the steering track rods may be damaged when exposed to high temperatures and vibrational loads. BMW says if the steering track rods are damaged or break, the vehicle will have limited steering ability and may not steer as expected.
