The Suzuki Swift Sport hot hatch has come in for a midlife update after this generation model went on sale two-and-a-half years ago. The 2021 Suzuki Swift Sport Series II – arriving in showrooms in limited numbers now before supply ramps up from August 2020 – retains its familiar formula: a perky turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission in a package that weighs less than 1000kg.

A short history of the Ford Bronco

It’s been a long wait since Ford announced at the 2017 Detroit auto show it would revive its iconic Bronco name plate. Since then, teaser images have become internet fodder as an excited Bronco-bustin’ public seeks ever more information on the Blue Oval’s iconic SUV. Today, the wait is finally over, with Ford taking the covers off its sixth-generation Bronco. And to our eyes, it looks pretty sweet.

2021 Ford Bronco Sport: meet the tough-looking Toyota RAV4 rival

The Toyota RAV4 has a tough-looking new rival – however it's a US-only model for now, and not likely to be built in right-hand-drive for Australian showrooms at this stage. The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is a medium-sized SUV with the styling – if not the DNA – of a heavy duty off-roader. The Ford Bronco Sport was released in the US today alongside the brand's new rivals to the Jeep Wrangler.

The 2020 Hino 300 Series two-wheel-drive truck range has been given an update with added safety features and a revised hybrid option for car licence holders needing a light-duty truck. 2021 BMW 5 Series: prices rise by up to $6000

It will cost more to keep to keep up appearances in a BMW 5 Series sedan when the midlife facelift arrives in Australian showrooms in October. The subtle redesign – including new headlights, grille, and tail-lights – coincide with tech changes including a larger infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and engine power upgrades for a number of models.

2021 Ford Bronco revealed, still no closer to Australia

Ford has finally revealed its new Bronco four-wheel-drive and SUV range, with two-door and four-door off-roaders joined by the smaller Bronco Sport designed as a more family-friendly option. Despite the broad appeal of these models, none are planned for Australia as they are intended to be built in left-hand-drive only at this stage. Although the Ford Bronco was last sold in the US in 1996, the modern version has design elements from the original model sold in the US from 1966 to 1977.
